APCOA operates several car parks in Bergen, including hotel car parks at First Hotel Marin and the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel. Many of the city’s major sights and areas can be accessed on foot from our car parks.
Bergen is everything travellers to Norway dream about: a cosmopolitan city combining historic buildings and enviable access to nature with modern ambitions. From the UNESCO World Heritage area of Bryggen, whose reconstructed Hanseatic buildings line the wharves where the fjord breaks into the city, to the tumbling hillside views of the Nordnes district, Bergen is the ultimate Norwegian destination.
The bustling Fish Market is the best place in the city to eat fresh seafood–and reindeer and elk steak too. Grab a table just five minutes’ walk from our car park at the First Hotel Marin. 10 minutes’ walk from the same car park, you’ll find Bergen Cathedral, an imposing, richly historic site whose exterior wall still contains a cannonball that became embedded there during the1665 Battle of Vagen.
Revellers looking to take advantage of Bergen’s lively nightlife can leave their vehicle at APCOA’s Radisson Blu Hotell car park. The main nightlife district of the city is a five-minute walk from this car park, as is the Bryggen Museum.
Want to get out and explore the Norwegian wilderness without enduring the cold first-hand? Take a trip on the Bergen-Oslo train, along a line that forges through mountains, valleys, and rivers before dropping into the capital city. You can leave your car at an APCOA car park for the day, while you venture out and back through stations that climb to a height of 1,237 m.
