The car park at Ringerike Hospital has camera recognition

Parking along Arnold Dybjords vei is signposted with parking prohibition and is part of the parking company's control area.

Parking time

How long you can park varies from 15 minutes up to 3-5 hours. See the signs where you park.

The usual parking spaces along the façade at the hospital's main entrance are only for quick boarding and disembarking. Therefore, it is only allowed to stand for 15 minutes in these places. The HC spaces that are also located near the main entrance are not subject to such time restrictions.

At the emergency department, there is a separate regulation with parking without payment for up to one hour for acute emergencies. 

Payment

It is possible to pay with both card, cash and the APCOA FLOW app.

At Ringerike Hospital, there will be both areas with license plate recognition, but also areas without license plate recognition where you start parking yourself.

Car park with camera recognition

With camera recognition the parking starts and stops automatically when entering and exiting the carpark.

For users who are unable to download the app through the Norwegian Appstore / Google Play, the website flow.apcoa.no can be used. You can either register as a user or use the website anonymously by searching for your number plate.

Parking in areas without license plate recognition

Here, parking must be started either by using a vending machine (prepayment) or via the APCOA FLOW app.

We recommend using the app, as you can also extend the parking time easily from where you are, without having to return to the parking area. When you want to leave, you can also easily stop parking in the app. You start parking in the app by entering a four-digit rate group that you can find on the machine or signage in the area.

Parking for visitors (P1 and P2) is subject to a fee Monday-Friday between 08:00 and 16:00.

Parking in the car park (P1) is subject to a fee Monday-Friday between 09:00 and 16:00.

On "red days" in the calendar, parking control is not carried out in the following spaces: P1, P2, P3, P4 or P6.

Control fee (parking fine)

If you park beyond the allowed time, you will receive a control fee, not get a new card load or similar.

Parking outside areas marked as parking spaces is prohibited and a control fee is imposed immediately. This applies around the clock, all year round.

If you receive a control fee you disagree with, you must go to kontrollavgift.no. You should not contact the hospital or Vestre Viken. See signs on site for who is responsible for the parking lot.

El-bil parkering

Det er ikke parkeringsplasser med lademulighet for elbiler på området til Ringerike sykehus, men det er mange ladeplasser i nærområdet til sykehuset.

Disabled parking

There are several spaces for disabled parking at Ringerike Hospital.

Parking in HC space requires that you have a valid badge from the municipality visible in the windscreen.

Parking is free in spaces marked with HC if you are disabled and have a valid and visible sticker.

If there is no available HC space, you do not have to pay for parking in a regular parking space, as long as you are disabled and have a valid sticker from the municipality visible in the windscreen.

Blood donors

Blood donors who have registered as donors with the hospital can park in all marked spaces.

Blood donors state their car number at the Service Centre / Reception for free parking.
