Park in the city center, at our Rådhusgata 2 car park, and learn about Oslo’s more recent history–and to take part in the city’s annual holiday celebrations and public ceremonies. The 13th-century Akershus Fortress, commissioned by King Håkon V and converted into a Renaissance residence in the 17th century by King Christian IV, is only a five-minute walk away. In addition to its own fascinating historical exhibits, this popular spot plays host to festivals and concerts throughout the summer months.
Enjoy Oslo’s cultural heritage at the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, dramatically sited on the city harbour. The Opera house is an 8-minute walk from our Langkaia 1 car park.
Don’t miss the Holmenkollen Ski Museum and Tower, which is a national landmark and a fascinating insight into skiing in all its forms. The museum is housed inside the legendary Holmenkollen ski jump, the site of some of the most historic victories in Norwegian sporting history. Discover polar exploration artefacts, have a go on the ski simulator and admire the sights of Oslo from the top of the ski jump. Open every day of the year, the Holmenkollen Ski Museum and Tower is accessible by a short taxi journey from our Landingsveien 14 car park.
